The Florite Model 990 is often used to proportionally control the level of fluid in a storage tank. Its standard PID control function is selected to provide closed loop control to achieve a programmed level by measuring the level and controlling the fluid inlet valve accordingly. The Model 990 communicates liquid level information to remote and local computers connected to both a wide area network (WAN) and to a local area network (LAN), and provides alarm information when detecting the outgoing fluid line is delivering fluid faster than a pre-programmed limit. The versatile Model 990 Intelligent Integrated System features built-in control functions readily available to support up to three independently operating input-output port combinations by simply selecting Monitor, Manual, Batch, Dose and PID from the front panel keypad, or provided by serial command from a local or remote computing system.
