Released to manufacturing in July 2003 - the 994 product is providing our customers the many benefits of an intelligent integrated system platform from control, monitoring, to industrial data logging. The 994 continues enhancement with application specific upgrades such as selectable geometry liquid flow measurement, selectable compensation factors for mass gas measurement, and computing for numerous multi-parameters for steam and heat flow, with continuation of incorporating user programmable process logic.

 The 994 is a versatile tool - it can easily be configured with up to four universal input modules for measurement and monitoring - up to four universal output modules for control service - or nearly any required mix. Soon to be adapted for the 994 are digital signal input and output adapters first to be available for 990 six port platforms. These adapters allow for 994 configurations up to 32 inputs, 32 outputs, four universal analog functions, or nearly any other required mix.
994 Independent Fluid Measurement Temperature Compensation
 

Starting at just $619.00 the 994 Intelligent Integrated System platform is applied to simultaneously compute corrected flow rates and accumulated quantities from multiple independent sensor measurements. This application type is representative of the many ways that integrated multi-parameter platforms provide instant system solutions.
 
Process
The flow rate and accumulated quantity of a liquid fuel is measured, and the 994 calculates and applies numeric compensation required to correct the liquid measurement based on the fluid temperature measured from a thermocouple sensor. At the same time - the flow rate and accumulated quantity of a gas is measured, and the 994 calculates and applies numeric compensation required to correct the mass measurement based on the gas temperature measured from a platinum resistance temperature sensor.

The data service capabilities of the 994 enable data logging, acquisition and control of the measured information locally or remotely
