The 900 Series is an
economic one loop microcomputer-based instrument incorporating user
selectable digital and analog inputs, as well as analog and relay
outputs. Other 900 Series features include .005% high accuracy PID,
batch, and dose control functions. Additionally, the 900 Series
encompasses rate metering, dual totalizing, onboard data logging, easy
menu navigation, multiple audio/visual alarm functions, a serial RS-232
port, LWAN (modem) communication, and a high contrast backlit LCD
display.
The 900 Series have been designed to provide unattended
precision multi-parameter process control, measurement, monitoring, and
data communication for a variety of commercial and industrial applications.
Process control functions are programmed manually or by using local or remote serial commands. Inputs are accepted from analog or digital signal sources, and current, voltage or relay outputs are available.
Programmable set-points include quantity, high/low/average flow rates,
time in service and are used to trigger the indicators, signal output, and
invoke local and remote alarm reporting.
Information is accessed locally using the display, standard RS-232 serial port, or
remotely using the internal or external WAN (modem) interface.
A high contrast backlit display and multicolored front panel LED's indicate quantity totalizer
states, flow rate, report state, and WAN (modem) status, with a standard on-board audio indication.
Extensive built-in self test and instillation diagnostics enable quick
and easy installation.
The 900 Series non-volatile memory retains accumulated and programmed information over
100 years without a backup battery, a long life lithium battery preserves
clock time over 10 years.
