The Model 994 is a compact
microcomputer-based instrument utilizing Florite universal I/O
technology enabling the use of any manufacturer’s flow meters and
actuators accompanied by a two year warranty. The instrument's
universal I/O technology allows the user to configure the screw terminal
ports enabling any mix of input and or outputs regardless of the signal
type. This instrument also boasts .005% ultra high accuracy PID, batch,
dose, and mixing control. Additionally, the 994 encompasses onboard
data logging, easy step-by-step menu navigation and programming,
multiple alarm functions per port, serial RS-232, LWAN (modem)
communication, and a high contrast backlit display all within a 3/16 DIN
enclosure. An ideal process control or monitoring instrument when panel
space is minimal.
It provides unattended multi-port multi-parameter
logging, process control, precision measurement, monitoring, and data communications
for a variety of commercial and industrial applications.
Modular
port (i/o) adapters are user selected to optimize the system's specific application
configuration.
Powerful built-in control macro-functions are programmed manually or by using local or remote serial commands. Inputs are accepted from analog or digital signal sources, and current, voltage or relay outputs are available.
Programmable set-points include quantity, high/low/average flow rates,
time in service and are used to trigger the indicators, signal output, and
invoke local and remote alarm reporting.
Information is accessed locally using the LCD or any of the three serial
port interfaces. Measured and control information is acquired on a solicited
or unsolicited basis, with log values date-time stamped.
A high contrast backlit display and multicolored front panel LED's indicate quantity totalizer
states, flow rate, report state, and WAN (modem) status, with a standard on-board audio indication.
Extensive built-in self test and instillation diagnostics enable quick
and easy installation.
The onboard non-volatile memory retains accumulated and programmed information over
100 years without a backup battery, a long life lithium battery preserves
clock time over 10 years.
